Overview
Another Path is a text-based visual novel sandbox for players who want a slow-build story about money, status, and choice. It plays it straight, with a grounded tone rather than a comedic one.
Story
Cut off from his father's fortune and put out on the street, the protagonist starts over in the city of Denlaw with nothing but the drive to prove he deserved better. Rebuilding means finding work, meeting people, and clawing his way back toward the respect, and the inheritance, he was denied.
Gameplay
Progress comes from working gigs, meeting people around the city, and making decisions that shape how the protagonist's fortunes change over time. New opportunities open up as the story advances, including side systems like a stock market app accessed from home, giving players ways to build income alongside the relationships and choices that drive the plot.

Story:
- We added a new character: Sue Patterson. Sue is a warm, flirtatious neighbour that lives in the North Homes. Sue is adjusting to an empty nest and deciding what she wants from the next chapter of her life.
Scenes & Media:
- Sue Patterson bring 6 new scenes in the gallery. She is a complex character with a branching in her story. Either take it slow or go for the casual route.
Technical:
- Fixed 18 missing character portraits
- Added images to computer skills training
- Added the possibility to rent apartments instead of buying them
- Updated the intro of the game to allow the choice of renting or buying right from the start
- Fixed an issue where the heat at the top of the interface while selling was the one of the previous place you sold at
- Added the possibility to see all the heat meters
Heat now decreases after sleeping:
- Fixed some bugs related to variables being displayed in dialogs
- Fixed an issue that was making Emilia step two loop when going to her apartment
- Fixed an issue related to background transitions during Farah date
